My concentration is…what’s that word that means you can’t find something?

Wednesday, July 16th, 2008

I really feel like I’ve been run over by a truck today. At lease three times today I’ve had to rouse myself from staring blankly at my computer screen, and each time can’t for the life of me remember what I was doing beforehand.

I suppose this matters little to anyone (including myself), but I’m finding it hard to do any work today. Oh, I have plenty to do…I’m just not doing any of “it.”

I’ve spent a good portion of today reading wikipedia articles about A Song of Ice and Fire, watching Colbert Report clips (thanks Mojo!), and trying to find any reliable rumor that the Dodgers are going to trade for Jack Wilson.

Even as the economy continues to stumble like a drunk in a parking lot at 2 am, I’m becoming more and more indifferent to this job for reasons that I won’t yet divulge. I suppose that isn’t any way to recommend myself to any would-be employers but….meh.

They’ve Shut Down My Database…

Thursday, July 17th, 2008

Well, they haven’t shut it down…there’s some system upgrade going on here at work so I can’t get into it for a bit. In my boredom I decided to put up a new poll because I’m coy like that.

Get your vote on here…
