And to think I’ve wasted all this money on my “supposed” degrees when it could have been so much easier.

Far be it from me to disparage the higher education practices in other states, but I think I’m going to have to move to Tennessee. I mean, if people can get university level positions with degrees from such places as “Cambridge State University” and “Belford University” and some place called “Brighton University” (which was closed by court order and should not be confused with the University of Brighton) what am I doing wasting my time at Chapman?

Hell, I could have had a 4.0 for only 75 extra bucks! That’s one hell of a deal.

Sure, I have a teaching thing lined up for this fall already, but it sure would have been a lot easier, and cheaper, to use my “life experiences” as a qualification for a PhD.

What really bothers me about that article, though, is that all of the supervisors that were interviewed defended the people with the fraudulent degrees. “Well, this dude with the fake doctorate has a REAL master’s, so that’s cool.” Is that the state of academic integrity in this country? No wonder students just download papers from the internet. That’s how their professor’s are getting degrees!
