Why are we asking for money?

Because doing this costs money, and while someday we hope to make money in more traditional (ahem: advertising) ways, right now we’ve made a cool $0.18 on ad revenue. Now if you minus the cost of registering our domain and our yearly subscription to our server you’re looking at…well, we’re not raking in the dough is all.

One thing we would like to do is start producing comics more then once a week.

Well why don’t we?

Good question. Gilgrim, genius that he is, only has access to a Wacom while at work, and can’t be making NR strips whenever he wants because, you know, he’s got a kid to feed and all. So he works feverishly during his lunch hours to produce this high quality NR content for all you Normalinauts out there.

Now if he had a Wacom of his own, at home say, then mayhaps you’d get to see more NR style visual stuff on a more regular basis. But, of course, we ain’t rich. So we’re asking our faithful Normalinauts to pitch in and lend a hand (er, dollar) to the cause.

You are more then welcome to donate any amount you want. No donation is too small (well, anything under $0.40 is too small due to the 30 cents plus 2% that Paypal takes for every transaction). Nevertheless, the management of Normality Restored is pleased to offer you these “premiums” to help motivate your spending…er, donating.

For a donation of $5.00 - you will receive a personal e-mail of thanks from both gilgrim and kilian, and kilian will write a personalized Shakespearean sonnet in your honor (though he won’t promise that it will be in exact iambic pentameter, but he’ll try his best).

For a donation of $10.00 - you will receive both of the $5.00 dollar premiums and gilgrim will create for you a custom black and white icon in both 100 x 100 px, and 150 x 150 px sizes.

For a donation of $25.00 - you get all of the lower premiums and gilgrim will render both sizes of your icon in brilliant color.

For a donation of $50.00 - you get all of the lower premiums and kilian and gilgrim will create for you a personalized, full color, NR wallpaper in 800, 1024, 1280 and 1360 for all your sizing needs.

For a donation of $100.00 - you get all of the lower premiums and will be personally featured in a Normality Restored webcomic.

Our goal is $450.00 (US), which I think we can all agree isn’t too terribly high (I mean, we aren’t trying to cure a disease over here), and if we can attain our goal, it will benefit all of you, our faithful readers.
