While I know where your coming from as I to am a WoT fan as Kilian can atest. In addition I've read everything I can get my greedy hands on of Sanderson's. Cause you know at first I was really nervious about him writting said book series but after reading several(read as 90% of everything published, and a few items that have not) I'm feeling a lot more comfortable with his ability to finish off the series with RJ's notes, and Harret doing the editing as she always has.
Brandon isn't RJ, and the fact that he wrote the book in his own style instead of trying to copy Jordan's style is a testiment to his character. He still has a fair number of notes, and prewritten pieces that had to flow. Now if he can merge what was written, and continue to write in his own style without the readers feeling a hodge podge being then its going to be a good book.

While it was a dissapointment that the finalbook was going to be split into three books, we kinda knew that was going to happen as it would have been monsterous. :) Kilian was even daunted at reading a book that big. RJ mentioned TOR would have to redo the bindings so they could print a book that large but alas he died, and the clout that he had with TOR didn't stay with the series. So when when Sanderson came oonboard to finish the series it was more or less going to happen. Lets face it a rather young, and unknown author doesn't have the pull to say its going to be as RJ wanted.

In all I understand the decision to split the books. I don't have to agree but instead of say waiting another 4 years for it to be completed, I'll happily take it in thirds.
