Random Acts of Insightfullness #3 – SG Browne

Hey there faithful Normalinauts. Remember when I said I’d have another interview…it was like a year ago…well, that one fell through. It only took me this long to get another one set up, recorded, and ready for posting. See how damn on the ball I am?

Anyway, you might remember a review I wrote about Breathers: A Zombie’s Lament. Today I present to you an interview with SG Browne, author of said novel.

Topics discussed include: allegorical implications of zombie narratives, zombie recipes, engineering as a profession (or not), erotic corpses, rewriting as a process, empathetic horror archetypes.

For the interested, the bumper music (a nice addition this time around…don’t you think?) is as follows:

Part 1 — Camera Obscura – Away with Murder

Part 2 — Kate Nash – Skeleton Song

Part 3 — Neko Case – People Got a Lotta Nerve
