Greetings to all faithful Normalinauts old and new!
I’m sure that our vast entourage (all six of you) have noticed some new faces around here, or at least new names and voices, their “faces” will be coming soon. And unfortunately, as with everything else in my life this will have to wait just a bit longer until our move finally takes place this coming Monday (O_O)!
If it seems like I’ve been missing here for while it’s because it’s true… and I am sad for it… sorry guys, I do promise that new changes in our personal lives will certainly help to make thing better all around, especially here on NR. I’m sure that Kilian has mentioned this before but there are some big plans in store for NR and a lot of them should be very very very good, and will hopefully bring much joy to you all ^__^
In the meantime and in the spirit of playing catch-up a bit, above is obviously not a comic, but the annual special “Kilian Birthday Image”. Last year, I made another image for him, and just as last year the original hand-tooled hardcopy is waiting for him. This year however I went ahead and scanned it myself before even telling him that it was done, let alone handing it over so that it may be shared with all… apparently last year’s was lost to the ether, T__T or possibly eaten by angry gobos(?).
So here it is, I do hope you do enjoy. To Exulis, yes in response to your tweet earlier, I do believe that it would be appropriate to have some good old fashioned Nordic Death Metal playing in the background.

i feel comfortable admitting on this site that i am strangely attracted to the females in this drawing. its good man, i dont see that many pieces that can use gold color and pull it off. are you moving out of orange county or just to a different city? in any case i hope it works out for the best.
I am quite envious of “Kilian the Barbarian.” I like how he’s wearing tennis shoes to give the idea that it is a modern day Kilian dressed up in his dungeon beneath the house versus an ancestor of Kilian.
