Did anyone else watch Bill Maher on The Daily Show last night?
It occurred to me, after the show was over, that Bill Maher might be the closest modern equivalent to Henry David Thoreau. He has absolutely no hesitation saying what he believes. Regardless of what you might personally think of him, you have to respect his commitment to what he believes.

i have not seen anything by him since he went off bublic broadcasting all those years ago but i am looking forward to this movie, it looks fun.

the movie was great by the way, in case you are wondering if it is worth the money it is in my opinion
