The Best Way to Start Off The Week? Bacon and Stalking!
I’ll just say that while today is probably not the start of YOUR week, I spent most the yesterday hiding under pillows thanks to an awesome migraine that woke me up at 4 am, so today is the start of my week…
As dedicated Normalinaut Jezmon says, we here at NR have a decidely “Pro-Bacon Agenda.” Or at least I have a decidedly pro-bacon agenda, and since I’m the defacto voice of Normality Restored, by default all of NR is pro-bacon. I’ve made inquiries into starting the “Bacon-Freedom Party.” It seems rather natural, I think, to have an official snack food and, behold we now have one!
I must offer a word of warning, though. The description of the actual bar is…erotic? I mean, I love bacon, but I’m not sure I could talk about it in quite the same way as these people. I don’t think I’ve ever lusted for “salt and sweet.” But maybe that’s just me.
So I listened to The Ting Tings album this morning and I have to say it totally lives up to the first few tracks I heard off the demo. My initial appreciation for the band may…may…be enhanced by the fact that the singer/guitarist/bass player Katie White has just displaced Anne Hathaway on the top of the stalking list.
She may not stay at the top for long, though, as I find nightly commutes to Manchester a bit tiring after a few weeks.

Mmmm, choco-bacon. You know, my mom has a hobby of making custom candy labels. I may be able to persuade her to make some NR versions and when Halloween rolls around we can give the neighborhood kids candy with official NR wrappers…
I have yet to get my hands on those candy bars, but soon. Soooooooooon!

oooooh, the Ting Tings. i was sitting at home with nothing to do ( my comp is currently broken : ( ) so i was watching the best show in the world, Late Night with Conan O’Brien : ) and they were a musical guest. They were pretty good. My props went to the drummer, as he was adorable
