I’ll just say that I find it disturbing that I have been so mercilessly mocked by one of our monkey…er, coding goblins. We’re talking about a race that, as a rule, considers roadkill to be a delicacy with no equal.
It’s true, yes, that I did not attend the Comic Convention in San Diego in this, the year of our lord 2008. Just as I did not attend last year, or the year before that, or…I think you get the picture. There are tentative plans to attend the Alternative Press Expo, however. It’s probable that attendance to this particular event may occur since it’s in San Francisco. Besides having lived there for years, and possibly being able to swing a free place to stay (always a bonus!) my wife would gladly break my knee cap to get her hands on some Pork Store.
I’m tempted, in fact, to throw caution to the wind and go to the Vegas Valley Book Festival the very next weekend since both Neil Gaiman and Michael Chabon will be delivering keynote addresses at that particular event. The only problem with this, of course, is that I might be too fragile to survive two such events in a single year, let alone within seven days of each other.

Perhaps, Gobobogo can be “featured” on other websites as a traveling NR rep? He can report on what he thinks of their sites and stuff? Can someone e-mail Felicia Day and see if she would do something like that with her site?
