I’ve mentioned before, on a few occasions, that we here at NR attract certain…subcultures we’ll call them. We’re fine with this. On the one hand, who am I to tell “you” what you should do with your free time. And, more readers is more readers regardless if said readers are perverts.
But a new trend is emerging, and this one is…well…more than disturbing.
See that one at the bottom there? What the fuck is that? OK, I’ll admit that, yes, we did produce a comic in which a character (me) went a little “GTA” in a public space. But he did so with a water gun…in his underwear…while drunk. There is no mention of actually shooting someone with a real gun, or more importantly, shooting members of any specific racial group.
If you’re coming here for racist propaganda, boy howdy are you in the wrong corner of the interwebz. I get that the vast array of “tubes” that connects everything in this, the cyberspace, works in weird and mysterious ways, but guess what happens if you put in that specific search entry (“shooting black people gta web comic” that is) in google? Normality Restored comes up FIRST! Out of 289,000 hits, no less! That’s not right. I mean, if it was just “gta web comic”, or even “shooting gta web comic” I’d be fine with that. But this makes me feel dirty…in a bad way.
Am I getting worked up for nothing over this?
