If I can be counted on for anything, it is breaking my word…
Like yesterday, when I wrote that there would be a number of image type files posted in relation to said party on Saturday. What I actually meant was that, possibly, in some alternate universe such an event might occur.
In my defense (because the other thing I can certainly be counted upon is, after breaking my word, having a lot of excuses) I was working on novel # 2 most of the night. I have to turn in pages for my workshop class tomorrow. So, you know…
Plans are coming together for another installment of Random Acts of Insightfulness. Please feel free to anticipate this to your heart’s content.
I would also like to point out that Gilgrim’s Grand Gallery of Gratuitous Graphicy-style Goodness is once again “up” for your perusal.
And one last point today. It being April 1st, it is a certain person’s birthday. I will not, however, mention this person by name, nor wish him a “happy day of birth” until he can pull himself away from his damn Civ II for 3 stinkin’ minutes! I’m just sayin, for a network admin, he exhibits a serious lack of internetz wherewithal…or laziness.

Cheers to the Unknown.
Said sketches are hilarious for those of us involved in their making IE laughing at Kilian’s drunken responses.
I finished rereading Novel #1 last night, and the Daemons book to boot(a trifling 1200 pages). I definitely understand why you said it needed to be polished a little more. The book does flow better without the Notes from the old rough drafts.

It’s still not “done” I don’t think, though it’s pretty close. Really just needs some fine tuning at this point…

Happy Birthday, ex.
Kilian - I remember you talking about how nervous you were about writing the online story for us because you’re an editing freak. Might I suggest joining a play by post board-style rpg? You create a character, others create characters, and you mash them together in rp threads. It’s writing without editing and fairly good practice. I’m on the other end, I write all the time without editing. Unless I spell a word wrong or get a name wrong. Eh.

I’ve done a couple of things like that in the past. The problem I ran into, which would be the same now (probably) is that I just don’t have time to interact in that type of environment. When I’ve done it in the past I’ve lagged behind, in terms of participation, the other players and caused some consternation for the GM and players. Same would be true now.
As an exercise in trying to edit while I write, this current endeavor isn’t bad. Though it does tend to be less important then other “stuff.”

Um, Today isn’t my Bday that was like a couple weeks ago. http://www.normalityrestored.com/2008/03/05/two-thoughts-early-in-the-morning#comments
Unknown shall just be known as Unknown until he gets his lazy butt off Civ 2

That’s what I’m sayin!

So that’s what Unknown has been keeping his nose in lately! I figure he was just stuck on WoW crack and had hooked himself up to a machine to feed him and evacuate his bowels.

He spends his days playing Civ 2 since it doesn’t use a an Exe file to run, so its much harder to track, if he isn’t doing any work.
I do believe that the Unknown has been toying with the Ultimate Gaming Chair.
