Once this post went up I thought, "what if Powers randomly happens on this one day, would he be angry, amused, apathetic, etc.?" So I sent him a brief e-mail with a link to the post, to which he signed off on (thank god) and thanked me for finding the Pratchett link as he had forotten the name of the soup. And that, friends, is why Tim Powers is the man! As an addendum…
