The sweet science of bacon.

I’m gonna’ go ahead and throw this up here on the old digital squat space of Normality Restored. I was going to wait on this for a bit, but there are more posts coming down the pike very soon.

This strip was written by Kilian, and therefore is in a much clearer form of English. From now on, that the testing and other art-side time-wasting seems to be at an end, this is the way that Normality Restored will tend to operate. So just a note, I do the scribbling, Kilian does the words ^__^. Welcome to Normality Restored!

So there you go, the first, of what I would deem to be an official, and real Normality Restored strip. This also marks the first time that I’ve done an entire strip digitally. I was knocking around the idea when I put together the wallpapers, and decided to go for it. I’ve always been impressed by Gabe’s (Penny-Arcade) most recent art style, and watching some old videos of him working through a waccom was very inspiring. I still have some quips about this piece (the artwork at least) but I feel comfortable enough to venture forth and continue to give this whole digital-only way of making strips a chance. So, with any luck, they should do nothing but improve in the future. As an added note, since this series is still very much in its early stages, character designs may end up being changed down the line. I have no idea if or when that might happen, but I thought I’d throw that out there now so I can cover my ass later.

cheers,

gilgrim

Just a side note but you may want to introduce new characters, or make some kind of side listing of “extras.”
